The Research Business DAILY Report is one of my favorite resources for information on market research. Everything from insights to ideas to interesting happenings in this industry, it shows up on Bob Lederer’s program.
That’s why I was honored when Bob reached out to me a few weeks ago to discuss the two-month-long How to Write a Buyer Persona project I just wrapped up.
For those not in the know, a buyer persona is a short, semi-fictitious character study of your primary marketing audience member. It’s intended to inspire and guide your marketing, making sure each tactic you execute is done so with your most important objectives in mind.
Most buyer personas are based on what you know about your audience. But right now, with the global COVID-19 crisis, how audiences think and feel is a lot trickier to establish. That’s why I pulled together this new process, and detailed the whole thing out, so any marketer can follow along and build a buyer persona that’s relevant for their audience today!

Thanks again to Bob for having me on the show! Can’t wait to do it again!
I hope you enjoy this awesome discussion.
